Whitney Marsh
Whitney Renee Marsh, 41, wife, mother and daughter, went home to the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018. Whitney, a lifelong resident of Fort Smith, was an active member of the running, cycling and fitness community, a volunteer in support of children's advocacy issues with CASA, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a close friend to many. Whitney was accomplished in many ways — a graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a certified gemologist, avid cook and the youngest real estate broker in the state of Arkansas at age 18; though she was most fulfilled in her role as mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael Marsh; children, Madison, Heidi, Nicholas, Sarah and Christopher; parents, Connie Calhoun and Ron and Gaylene Calhoun; and siblings, Stefanie Eoff Meyers, Kimberly Morgan, Melanie Bohlman, Barrett Calhoun and Clayton Calhoun.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church. Service is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sebastian County CASA, 1216 Towson Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901; or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 are appreciated.

I met Whitney some time ago before her husband and babies, I remember her as being so funny in her daily conversations. She had such a great sense of humor. She will be missed by so many. I pray for her family and friends.

I just can't believe such a beautiful soul had to leave us so soon. I'm so heartbroken for Mike and the kids. All of Whitney's family members have my condolences & my prayers.

I still remember her gorgeous young spirit when she met Mike as he was looking for that next home. It seems like last year to me ... never dreaming she would have to leave us only 2 decades later.

But the tremendous impact she packed into those years is so evident -- with her beautiful children at the top of that list along with being the rock in Mike's life as his loving partner. And she accomplished so much more during her short time on this earth that deserves admiration.

God bless your sweet soul, dear Whitney.
