BEE, VA – William Herbert Hardy, age 67, of Sandlick Road, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Heritage Hall in Grundy, Va. Born in Wilmington, Del., he was the son of the late Herbert and Agnes Spangler Hardy and was last employed as a correctional officer.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Hardy; son, Matthew Hardy, Fort Chiswell, Va.; granddaughters, Laikyn Hardy and Kimber Hardy; sister-in-law, Rita Kay Jackson; brother, Steven Hardy; and nephews, Michael Hardy and Ricky Hardy.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Haysi Funeral Home, with Mike McGlothlin officiating. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m., prior to the service at 7 p.m.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Cedar Bluff, Va. Pallbearers will be Clifford Breeding, Evan Clemons, Jake Deel, Michael McGee, Phillip Presley and Darrell O'Quinn.
