It is with great sadness that the family of Judith (Annis) Kinne announces her passing from Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, NY. Judy was born on August 7, 1952 in Newburgh, NY and passed peacefully on March 8, 2025. She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, NY, graduated with a Bachelor's degree from St. Bonaventure University and held a Master's degree in Economics from Syracuse, University. Judy was a professor of Accounting at SUNY Cortland until her retirement in 2015.
Judy was one of those exceptionally gifted individuals who excelled in academics and any hobby or skill she undertook. Judy was also a master picture framer and art gallery owner for 10 years in the town of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. She was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Antoinette Annis and brother Gerald Jr.
Judy was a loving and devoted wife, survived by her husband, David Kinne of Tully, NY; her sisters, Virginia (Jeffrey) Wolbert of Syracuse, NY, Suzanne (Thomas) Tomazic of Oswego, NY; several nieces and nephews. The family is truly thankful to the third floor at Iroquois Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to Judy.
Calling Hours will be held from 12 noon to 2pm on Saturday May 17, 2025 at Hartwell Funeral Home, 461 Route 281, Tully, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the SPCA or to a charity of your choice.

Judy was vibrant and fun. Have to smile just thinking of her. She could do anything and do it quite well. We have special memories being with her and Lanky.
