Michael Simianakis Obituary

Michael Simianakis July 20, 2011 Michael Simianakis, 60, of North Syracuse, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native of Iraklion, Crete, Greece and lived in the Syracuse area since 1977. He was a quartz technician for Micro Glass, Inc. and an active member of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church. Surviving are his mother, Kalliopi Simianakis; a sister, Catina Egloff; two nephews, Christopher and Will Jay Egloff; two nieces, Elizabeth Walts and Jomarie Egloff and two grandnieces, Abigail and Helena. Services will be Saturday, July 23 at noon at St. Sophia's Church, 325 Waring Road, DeWitt, preceded by a calling hour from 11 a.m. at the church and followed by burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Ste. 1010, Rockville, MD 20852. Fergerson Funeral Home, Inc.

I am so lucky to have loving memories of such a wonderful wonderful man! Uncle Mike will be so dearly missed and never forgotten.
