Robert Scott

Robert Scott, 71, of Clay, passed away on Wednesday.
Born in Endicott, New York, Robert moved to the Syracuse area in 1972 to attend Le Moyne College. It was there that he met the love of his life, his wife Susan, and together they made the Syracuse area their home for more than five decades.
Robert retired from Amusement Plus after many years of dedicated service. In his free time, he was an avid golfer and spent the off-season bowling. He was also a devoted fan of Syracuse University sports and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Orange.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Katherine Scott.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, M. Susan (Pastore) Scott; his children, Robert (Jessica) Scott and Kristy (Dave) Smorol; and his cherished grandchildren, Ellie, Liam, and Michael. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy (Mike) Gentile and Tim (Nancy) Scott; nieces, Wendy (John) Jambro and Kate Gentile; nephews, Patrick (Alicia) Scott and Eric Scott; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Farone & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the American Heart Association, or Paige's Childhood Cancer Fund.
