Susan C. Paninski

Susan (Gilbert) Paninski, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on July 8, 1954, to Marylou and William Gilbert, Susan's life was defined by passion, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to her family and community.
A proud graduate of the Crane School of Music, Susan followed her calling as a music teacher, sharing her love for music with countless students over the years. She found great joy in teaching others to play and write music, always encouraging creativity and expression. Her love for music was matched only by her zest for life - Susan was an avid runner and skier who especially cherished winter ski trips with her family.
Susan's love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life. She deeply adored her husband, Charles "Chuck" Paninski, and together they enjoyed countless motorcycle rides and visits to their favorite local spots - "R" Diner and Country Time Diner - where they spent treasured moments with friends and each other.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck Paninski; her children, Allison Kadick (Nicholas Kadick), Stephen R. Carney, Jacob Paninski (Samantha Paninski), and Michael Price (Jennifer Price); and her cherished grandchildren, Elise, Alexandra, Zakari, Ashton, Layla, and Jackson - each of whom held a special place in her heart.
To her family, Susan was a guiding light - warm, wise, and full of grace. Her presence brought joy, her laughter brought comfort, and her love was a constant. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit will live on in the lives she touched. We were blessed beyond measure to have had her as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Please keep Susan in your thoughts and prayers, and honor her memory by speaking a kind word in her name. She was truly our angel on Earth.
