Alma M. Alston

Alma M. Alston "Mother A" departed her earthly life on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Heritage Health Care Center. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 17 at St. Mary P.B. Church, 655 W. Georgia St, Tallahassee, FL. Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery.

She is survived by five sons, Sharron Vaughn (Brenda), John Vaughn, Arthur Gee (Shirleen), Walter Gee and Kelvin Harris (Stephanie); four daughters, Cassandra Berrian-Kelly, Valerie Jugger (Anthony), Sheila Johnson, and Allisa Harris; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss is a special friend Theodore Harris along with a host of other family and friends.

Ms. Alston was preceded in death by her mother Maggie Alston-Coleman.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Health Care Center.
