Mr. Arthur McGlockton, 62 years of age, of Tallahassee, FL, died on Thursday, June 01, 2017 in Tallahassee, FL. The service is 11:00 a.m., EST, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at St. Paul P.B. Church, of Gretna, FL with , burial at Church's Cemetery, of Gretna, FL. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday, June 09, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home of Quincy, FL. He is survived by his fiance, Lula Weston, of Tallahassee, FL, two sons, Cornelius McGlockton (Shaundra), of Midway, FL, Julius McGlockton (Altrimese), of Key West, FL, two daughters, Serina McGlockton, of Gretna, FL, Glinda McGlockton, of Charlotte, N.C., three brothers, Willie Alvin Nelson (Bessie), of Tampa, FL, David L. Nelson, Sr. (Rosena), of, Quincy, FL, Frederick McGlockton II, of Tallahassee, FL, one sister, Letha Bell McCray, of Gretna, FL and 5 grandchildren. Williams Funeral Home of Quincy, Florida in charge of arrangements.

To The Family of Mr. McGlockton:
I knew Mr. McGlockton from him mworking as a shift supervisor at Florida State Hospital during the 1980's. He was always a very fair and decent person. Always had a smile on his face and a very nice sense of humor. He never met a stranger and he knew how to make situations work out for all concerned, both the residents and the staff. I know that all of you will miss him, but he is in a better place now. No more suffering or pain. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your special friend, father, grandfather, uncle. May God bless each of you during this very difficult time. Please take care.
