Ava Putnal Tolar Mrs. Ava Putnal Tolar, 93, died Saturday, September 20, 2008, in Madison, Fla. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. EDT at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel, Madison, Fla. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22 from 6 until 8 p.m. EDT at Beggs Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Madison, Fla. Mrs. Tolar was born in Jennings, Fla., on April 28, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Milton Coley Putnal and Vianna Waters Putnal. She lived in Hamilton County until 1956, when she and her family moved to Madison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Madison Church of God, Madison, Fla. She is survived by her four sons, Bobby Tolar, of Madison, Fla., Donnie Tolar, of Lake Park, Ga., Daniel Tolar, of Morris, Ala., and Ronnie Tolar, of Lake City, Fla. She had nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, George Thomas Tolar.
