Benjamin Austin

Benjamin "Buck" Austin of Tallahassee passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at New Zion Primitive Baptist Church, 3845 Miccosukee Road, with burial at Clifford Hill Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted daughter, Vera G. Mack; son, Shontell Austin; granddaughter LaMonica (Wilbert) Butler, Jr.; sister, Essie Head, Gainesville, FL; devoted nieces Anjali Austin (Collier Woods) and Michele Austin; nephew Calvin Dibbles; nieces, Linda Gambrell, Mary Helen Zanders, Denise Mozee, and Keri Austin; sister-in-law, Wyneva Austin; a surrogate son, Billy Close (and family); The Close Family; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Buck: I always enjoyed speaking with you every time I ran into you. I would just about daily see you and your car on Centeville Road. You were always out helping someone that needed help.
