I will always remember Ben coming to my office at St Marks Powder. Whenever I would ask how he was doing, his comment was always the same...."about as good as you look". He was always full of compliments and was always willing to give advice. I will miss his words of wisdom on gardening in Wakulla County. Ben will be greatly missed at St Marks.

Ben you are in God's presence and for that I rejoice. You have been so much a part of my family from Gay and I as relative newlyweds, through the birth and raising of our children, through Gay's passing and after. I thank God for putting you in our lives. I feel that Gay is greeting you in heaven saying Go NOLES ! We are better people because of you. Rest my friend and know that you are loved. You have served God well and He is well pleased in you ..... Rob, David, Matt, Mary Kate Lewis - your loving FSU football family

Ben will be missed by so many. He always had a smile and a comment to make me laugh. His love of family was evidenced in the photos he was so quick to share and the way he talked about siblings, nieces and nephews. He was so proud of them all. He also loved working at St. Marks Powder where I am certain he will be missed. My heart felt sympathy to the family. To you, Ben, I hope you now have that wonderful garden you dreamed of in your heavenly home!
