Beverly M. McCormack

Beverly M. (Campbell) McCormack of Champlin Drive, Westerly, and beloved wife of the late William McCormack who died in 1987, passed away on Dec. 25, 2010.
Daughter of the late Anna (Merrill) and Arthur G. Campbell, Beverly was born in East Greenwich, but moved to Westerly when she was one month old.
She graduated from Westerly High School in 1940. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Westerly and the Eastern Star-Deborah Chapter as well as a Rainbow Girl where she served as a past Worthy Advisor.
She worked many jobs through the years but was last employed as a clerk in Reid & Hughes store.
She loved her family, her two sons, William A. McCormack and wife, Argentina, of Miramar, Fla., and son, Stuart C. McCormack of Westerly; six grandchildren, Emily (McCormack) Howell and her husband, Andrew Howell, Daniel McCormack, and Harrison McCormack, of Westerly, Argentina K. (McCormack) Coy and her husband, Zackery Coy, of Missouri, Isabella McCormack and William E. McCormack, of Miramar, Fla.; and her precious great-granddaughters, Sadie Howell and Rowan Howell, of Bradford and Arianna Coy, of Missouri. She also leaves a longtime companion, Ron Carlson, of Westerly.
Beverly was predeceased by a sister, Ruth C. (Campbell) Green and her husband, Chester E. Green, and a niece, Deborah (Green) Dillon.
There are no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service to be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, is in charge of arrangements.
