Billy George Hunter Sr. Billy George Hunter Sr., 62, died Monday, July 10, 2006. He is survived by his selfless, everloving and giving wife of 43 years, Grace Hunter. The service will be at 10 a.m. today at Piedmont Primitive Baptist Church in Calvary, Ga. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Mr. Hunter, the son of Franklin George and Katherine Fulford Hunter, was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Monticello. Billy started his career with the Florida Department of State under Tom Adams and worked his way up to bureau chief. He was a Leon High School graduate. Senior will always be remembered for his lively life stories, his love for family and his influence and guidance with young men. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Other survivors include a dedicated son, Billy George Hunter Jr. of Tallahassee; an eloquent daughter, Katherine Renee Hunter-Frost of Dania Beach; two devoted children-in-law, Leigh Ann Hunter and Chris Frost; two vivacious grandsons, Dylan Hunter and Trace Hunter; numerous supportive nieces and nephews; and beloved family pets, Cody, Harrison, Rose and Jetta. Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Eugene Hunter and Irving Ray Hunter.
