Chhagan Dalsania Obituary
Chhagan Ravjibhai Dalsania was born Jan 12, 1942 in Moti Marad, Gujarat, India. He passed away peacefully at his home in Tallahassee FL at the age of 73. He was the youngest son of Ravjibhai and Puriben. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1974 and immigrated directly to Tallahassee, FL. He was a Mechanical Engineer at FAMU for 41 years. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his grandkids, family and friends. Traveling was one of his favorite hobbies and he enjoyed gardening and just helping anyone in need. He was very involved in the community with the Gujarati Samaj of Tallahassee and the India Association of Tallahassee.
He is survived by his wife Nirmala; sons Saraju and Ketan; daughters-in-law Reshma and Pina; and grandchildren Ashley, Veeraj, Jahaan, Aadi and Ashana. He touched many lives and has been described by all as a true gentleman. He lived by example. He loved by example.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee.
