What an Amazing Man/Sheriff David Hobbs was truly one of a kind and truly loved his community. Its been a true pleasure to have known him for 14 years and how he helped us many times. He will be missed by so many especially his wonderful family. I know he was so excited to meet his grandbabies as we spoke of what fun he will have with two to love ( we too have twin grandbabies and i shared how much fun it is) and i know he will be watching them from Heaven above and we pray for his family as their lives have changed forever but to say you have an husband and father that so many looked up to i hope can help you through this
Prayers for him wife, daughter, son in law and those sweet grand boys Benjamin and Wesley

This humanitarian will never be forgotten be the people of Jefferson County. he served Faithfully will love and care for the community he served. The community and the world need more David Hobbs. We shared the same birth month and day, he said we are some blessed individuals to share the same month and day, and would smile, a smile that made you feel and know he was genuine and it will be that smile and words of wisdom and the example he set that I will cherish. Out of our midst but never will he be forgotten.

I never met Sheriff Hobbs personally. Each time I saw him he was visiting various churches in Jefferson county. That made a lasting impression with me. He always had a smile on his face. Family, keep his precious memories alive. May the Lord bless and keep each of you.
