Doris VanAuken Obituary
Doris H. Van Auken, age 87, passed away March 1, 2014, in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born to the late Willet Harris and the late Florence Asher in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York in 1926. In 1989, she moved to Perry from Longwood, Florida with her late husband Joseph Van Auken, Sr. She was a Homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by one son Joseph Van Auken, Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas; one daughter Leah Hayes of Tallahassee; five grandchildren: Joseph Kinner, Billy Kinner and Ty Kinner all of Madison, Florida; Michael Van Auken and Christina Lock both of Lawrence, Kansas, and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Beggs Perry Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Pineview Memorial Gardens in Perry, Florida.

Not sure what made me think of Aunt Doris today. So when I googled her name, I found this. I'm sorry that I never got to know her very well. May she rest in peace.
