Douglas Britt Obituary
A memorial service for Douglas Allen "Doug" Britt, 38, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Wakulla United Methodist Church in Crawfordville, Florida.
Doug Britt passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming, after a sudden illness. Doug was born in Miami, Florida on April 21, 1978 the son of Clarence A. and Katherine (Kinsey) Britt. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida at an early age. He attended Rickards High School and later Chipola College. He was training to be a volunteer EMS and firefighter. He worked at Parkway Wrecker Service for twenty one years. After moving to Wyoming, Doug continued to dispatch calls for Parkway. He was a very dedicated and dependable employee with a heart as big as the Western sky. He also owned Dirty South Detailing, which really began to thrive in Wheatland. He was very proud of this accomplishment. It was his dream.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine E. Britt. Survivors include his father, Clarence A. Britt; sister, Amanda Cobb; and fiancé, Christy Hallman. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Barnes, Terry Hodges, Bryce Blair, Bruce Carmichael, Timothy Colson and Travis Hallman.
The urn bearer will be Jason Barnes. The Gorman Funeral Homes - Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gormanfh.com.

Lots of prays to Christy and the Britt family. Doug was and will always be the most sincere and kind hearted person. He added joy to everyone who knew him. So many awesome memories. We will miss you Doug.
