Douglas Kirkland Obituary
Douglas Lee Kirkland Sr., 66, of Tallahassee died Monday, September 17, 2012. Funeral services will be 1PM, Sat., Sept. 22 at Old West Florida Enrichment Center with burial at Southside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary H. Kirkland; son, Douglas Lee Kirkland, Jr. (Tashra Jones); stepson, Elijah Williams Jr.; daughter, Sonia E. Kirkland-Johnson (Carlos); stepdaughter, Tephanie Williams; mother, Lora L. Kirkland; brothers, Tommy Kirkland (Karin) of Landstuhl, Germany, Leslie Kirkland, Anthony Kirkland of Dayton, Ohio, Kenneth Kirkland (Linda), Jimmie Kirkland, Ambrose Kirkland and Eric Kirkland (Sherri) of California; sisters, Deborah Kirkland, Claudia Jean Osborne (Everett) of Lakewood, California, Angela Kirkland, and Reba Kirkland, Tallahassee, FL; aunt, Essie McCall of Birmingham, AL; uncle, Raymond McGough of Omaha, Nebraska, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose Kirkland, Jr. and his sister, Loretta Kirkland.
