Everett has known me since second grade. Stacey and I have been best friends for many years and there are a lot of memories I have with the family and most of them included Everett. He was a very sweet man and always put up with me and Stacey acting crazy and laughing out loud and just being children and teenagers. I remember his favorite thing was to be tending to his garden and working in his shed out back. He will truly be missed and I know that he is in heaven getting in trouble with mama Faye right now. haha

Sorry to hear of Everett's passing. We all grew up in the greatest neighborhood in Tallahassee. The Matthews family was very special.
