I always knew my little brother was special, but I never knew how many lives he touched and how much he was loved by his friends. Reading these entries has given my such great comfort. I love my sister-in-law, Xenia and appreciate what a wonderful wife she was to Jason and friend she is to me. I will always be thankful to her for making him so happy. Jason to us is still that funny kid sitting with our sons, Kevin and Randy in the den at our house and keeping us all "in stitches" with his sense of humor. Now he will be young forever. Heaven is lucky to have him and we are lucky to have spent time with him.

I only met Jason once during your going away party, but it feels like I known him for awhile through our friend Sandra who spoke highly of him. Jason blew in the door to the Academy one day like a tornado. He took our corrections program to new heights and with all the pressure he kept his sense of humor and made us laugh. I know I speak for all of us here when I say we will miss him.

Xenia--My heart goes out to you and your family. I only had the pleasure of meeting Jason a couple of times, but he made my husband and I laugh harder than anyone. He was a wonderful man and a great cook. May God bless you and your loved ones at this time.

My condolensces go to all the family left behind. There are no words that will possibly make this time easier. Hopefully time will help the pain but it can't possibly fade away all the laughs Jason brought to so many. There are way too many great memories I have of Jason and the times we all shared together. I met Jason while I served the Lord in the Kairos Prison Ministry at South Bay Correctional Facility. To say that he was a strong and calming influence in times of difficulty at the prison is a gross understatement. His confident and respectful demeanor, to be sure, helped to maintain calm in tense situations and spoke highly of his allegiance to our Lord and Savior.

Warden Bailey will be missed greatly. He was a true advocate for God's special time of ministry at South Bay Correctional. Kairos team members are greatly indebted to him for his gracious hospitality and generosity to all our members. I will remember Warden Bailey as a Peacemaker and a Peacekeeper.

I attended middle and high school with Jason, he was always funny and a joy to be around. Just last July we celebrated our 20th High School Class Reunion, he was the "King of the Party". Jason you will be truly missed!!!! My sincerest sympathy to the family.....

I met Jason Bailey at South Bay Correctional when he was assistant warden. I am involved in several prison ministries. Jason was a kindred spirit. He had compassion and love for all God's children. He even came into the prayer chapel and prayed with us one weekend. I know he is in his mansion in heaven smiling down upon us. Much love and prayers go out to the family.
