March 2020 - I just came upon Arthur's card and my Turn It Over Stone gifted to me. We met on a cruise at the meetings. I learned so much from Arthur. What a wonderful person. I am saddened to learn of his death here.

Arthur was an amazing man who always had a bright smile on his face, and my eyes always lit up every time I saw him. I'll always remember to "turn it over" and take things "slowly."

Arthur Abramides was in my life since I was born in 1960. Art , you were thought of by me as a 2nd father. The first thing that ALWAYS comes to mind when I think of you , is your kindness and the way you viewed the situations that life presented. If anyone ever saw the glass as half full, it was Arthur Abramides. Arthur suffered losses early in life that no husband or father should have known, and moved foward with compassion for everyone else he encounterd. Art, thank you for the memories during my youth! You ALWAYS created fun for others, And made many childhoods memorable! Then, the deli years. We worked side by side and that's when I really learned from you! Thank you Art for coming to my rescue in numerous situations!Mostly Art, thank you for ALWAYS being so generous! You & Olga made many vacations possible and asked for nothing in return, again creating wonderful memories. So Art, wherever you're resting now?, Rest in peace and know how deeply you were loved and will be missed greatly. Marty P

Arthur was like a wise-guy uncle to me. He always kept me laughing or smiling. I learned so much from him and miss him terribly right now. I will cherish my memories of him and remember many of his favorite sayings. I am also delighted that I have one of his famous "turn it over" stones. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Olga, and all of his children and family, especially Nancy with whom I attended high school and Chris, a year or two older than me in HS. May God bless you Arthur. I know the angels in Heaven will be laughing more now that you are there to joke with them. With love and friendship, Rick (FOB).

Arthur was one of our favorite people in the whole world. Every moment spent with him, every story he told, even the ones we had heard before, bought joy and love to your soul. The world is truly a darker and colder place today. But we can see him now, standing at the Pearly Gates, with that twinkle in his eye and saying “Tell him Arthur is here”
We Love You.

I worked for Art and Carl at the Towne Deli in the early 70s. We worked hard and also had a lot of laughs. Art was a good man and I have wonderful memories of those days. Warmest wishes to Art's family.
