An angel...that left us too soon.
I've got an idea she's still walking with us.

What a rare gem, you were.
Linda would often say to me, "Life is a journey, not a destination" and "The world is terrified of joyous women, take a stand be one anyway."
I will miss you, my sweet friend. I will forever cherish your gift to me....Rest in heaven.

I had the pleasure of working for Linda when I first entered the OIG community in State Government. I will always remember her for her intelligence, her poise, her dedication, her sense of humor, and her love of her children, family and friends. I know she is and will be missed by so many. God speed Linda.

Rest In Peace. My professional interaction was limited, but it was enough to know that you were a woman who stood on the side of right!! The world will miss you.

I was so saddened to hear this, and so sorry for her family's loss. Linda was one of the finest people I have met in the last 20 years. She was a motivator, a champion for her coworkers and those she supervised, and was always ready to lend an ear when you needed one. She was always very giving of her time and herself. She once gave me a small plaque that reads " Well behaved women, rarely make history." It sits on my desk at work today, and always makes me and others smile. Godspeed Linda may you rest in peace.

Dear family of Linda, I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling and wish you healing and peace. I am greatly saddened.

Linda was a smart, talented, and admirably feisty woman who used her attributes to relentlessly pursue justice for those she served.

I wish Linda all that is good, kind, peaceful and nourishing on her journey.

I only knew Linda for the short time she worked at Bug Bend Hospice but I liked her immediately. I found her to be professional, smart and a genuinely nice person. She will be missed.

Linda went out of her way to help me both personally and professionally, even when she stood to benefit nothing from doing so. What a tragic loss.

Deepest condolences to Linda's family. She is fondly remembered when she was Inspector General at the Agency for Health Care Administration. She took a keen interest in the staff working in my office, met with many of them to understand their work, and soliciting their ideas for program enhancements. She was a lovely, smart, and intelligent woman. She will be missed.

I knew Linda from our days working in State government. Linda was a leader in the inspector general community and a key part of strengthing the independence of IGs. I shall always be greatful for her help in that endeavor. I wish I could be there for her memorial but can not. Take comfort in knowing she will be remembered respectfully and fondly.

So sorry for your loss! She will be missed. Linda was always in full speed ahead mode. Loved working with her. We were always running into each other shopping and she was always smiling. So sad!

I am so very sorry. Linda was my boss, mentor, and friend for over 20 years. She was as courageous as they come and not afraid to speak truth to power even when it cost her dearly. Rest In Peace Linda.

My heart is broken, my soul will forever ache at this loss. Such an amazing soul and kindhearted person. For you Linda I will remember to live life finding the good in everyone, remembering that life will never be perfect, but that should never define us. The last time we spoke, she shared with me the poem, "Desiderata" which reflected her character. Always be kind...or at best...throw them a little sass while killing them with kindness. Rest easy boss lady...hope your dancing in your Marilyn Monroe tights and converse. "Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrenderbe on good terms with all persons.Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant;they too have their story..."My thoughts and prayers to all who were close to her.
