Marian A. Shook

Quincy - Marian A. Shook, 101 passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. The service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 11:00 AM at Centenary United Methodist Church in Quincy with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

A native of Canonsboro, PA, and had lived in Quincy many years. She received the Distinguished Volunteer Award for 20 years of delivering meals on wheels, she also volunteered many years to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include her sons; Larry, William, and Richard Shook, eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Shook, a daughter; Patty, and two sons; Steve and Jimmy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308 or Centenary United Methodist Church, 206 N. Madison St., Quincy, FL 32351.

Independent Funeral Home (850-875-1529) is handling arrangements.
