Oscar Scruggs Obituary
Tallahassee - Oscar Haynes Scruggs, 66, of Tallahassee, FL passed away unexpectedly on June 15th, 2021. He was born in Tallahassee, FL on December 1st, 1954 to Frederick Cason Scruggs & Agnes Thompson Scruggs.
Oscar retired from UPS after 31 years and enjoyed spending his time in the country hunting & fishing. He was an avid FSU fan, history buff, and jokester. His laugh will never be forgotten.
He was proceeded in death by his brothers, John & Bunkie Scruggs; his sisters, Jeannie Scruggs, Sarah Weber, & Edwina Rooks. He is survived by his 3 children, Scott, Melissa, & Kevin Scruggs, the mother of his children, Jeannie Scruggs, his only grandson Dylan, his sister-in-law Linda Scruggs, & his loving, eldest sister Ann Coxetter. He also leaves behind many nieces & nephews who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3 pm on June 24, 2021 at Christ Episcopal Church at 425 N. Cherry St., Monticello, FL 32344. In lieu of flowers, please donate to NAMI, P.O. Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297.
