Since going online and finding out that Rev. Dr. Corry now is deceased my thoughts have manifested. Always, I felt Devine prominence when in his presence, go kind, so gentle. I have become active with St. James Episcopal Church, Kittrell, NC and believe that parish to be one that Rev. Dr. Corry served while residing in NC--I am inquiring to older members. I would so love to hear from his children who revered their father. When I served the family in the 1960's I could see the love bestowed by Conti and Nell. What a life well-lived and a legend to be remembered!

I was doing some genealogy research, my late Mother's family in Quincy, Florida. I recall visiting them (Belle Cole, Dorothy Greene and Betty Brown) in 1973 and was made aware that they, the Cole's, were friends with the Corry's. I know that they showed me the Corry house, but cannot remember meeting the parents. So, I just happened to think of Rev. Dr. Corry and searched his name. I was shocked when his obituary came up and in Quincy! I live in Durham and worked for the Rev. and Dr. Corry when they purchased the Benson house in 1963 ( 70 cents an hour, 40 hours a week, inside and outside. I fondly remember my time there and especially each of the three girls. I saw less of Candy, as she was enrolled at UNC-Chapel Hill . . . I often sat for Nell and Constance. Rev. Corry was such a gentle, kind and compassionate man. He often worked with me in the yard. They sold and left after several years and moved outside of DC, I believe. My memories with the Corry Family remain so fond and often I have thought of and wondered what happen to the precious daughters. The obituary gives me some insight. I hope that this condolence reaches the girls. Our God welcomed HOME a wonderful son! Ed Cooke

Love Richard and seeing him smile. I loved always watching him walk down King street to go to church. He will me missed and he had an incredible life. Jesus saw him and said "well done my son and welcome home!"
