My heartfelt sympathy to the Dunbar family. I've known Mr. Dunbar's son Jim for about 30 years. He spoke of his father often and warmly. Having lost my own father less than six months ago, I deeply empathize with you all. Take care and know that the suffering of your loved one is over

I met Major Dunbar several years ago as a member of the Camp Gordon Johnston Association. We became good friends. I started calling him GENERAL and he laughed. I told him I would be his SGM if he ever needed one. We talked often and about the military. He enjoyed telling me about his military experiences. I'm sorry that I didn't get the chance to see him more often. I will miss him and our conversations. I salute you MAJOR.
