Robert Tharpe Obituary
Quincy - Robert Allen Tharpe, Sr., 69 passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. The Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 26, 11:00 AM at Antioch Church Cemetery.
He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He had worked over 20 years as a meat cutter for Albertsons Grocery Stores. He was a beloved father and grandfather and a man of faith who loved his Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nina Louise Tharpe, son; Robert "Buddy" Tharpe, Jr., daughter, Jennifer L. Tharpe (David Corley) of Quincy, sisters; Lavetra Parr of Crawfordville, Jenette Spooner of Quincy, Marjorie James of Thomasville, one grandson; Brennan Oakley "Buckshot" Clemans.
Independent Funeral Home (850-875-1529) is handling arrangements.
