Sam and Laura,
While I have no idea the pain and suffering you are experiencing, please no that you are in my toughts. You have done everything right as parents and must remain proud of what you did offer Brooks in his short life. I am sure he was mighty glad to call you Mom and Dad. In times like this, you must wonder why this had to be but God has a plan for both You, Brooks and the rest of your family. Stay strong and know that you have many people here to support you. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
Robert W. Kuhn

To the best of my knowledge I never had the honor of meeting Brooks, but I would like to thank him for using his strong body to keep a mortal blow from reaching the young man sitting behind him, my nephew, Sterling. Although Sterling does not yet know what happened he knows what a wonderful friend Brooks was. I would also like to thank Trey for his courage and skills which gave Sterling the time needed to reach the hospital. I have never met such an impressive group of young people as I did in Tallahassee this week. I'm sure that every one of you has someone to hold you tight and tell you that they love you and are very proud of you. I assure you that the familys of Brooks, Sterling and Trey are doing so tonight.

Our thoughts have been with your family since Sunday's sad news. Michelle shared with us that Brooks was one of those guys that was liked by everyone in her peer group, always kind and funny. She said his Facebook page was overflowing with loving comments by Sunday night. There are no words that seem adequate, just know many are grieving for your loss.

Mr. & Mrs. Rogers,

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to meet Brooks several times through my son Trey. They have visited me up here in McDonough for a weekend or two. I had the pleasure of taking Trey, Brooks, JR, and Sterling to clearwater for Trey's 21st Birthday. I so enjoyed Brooks' company. What a fine young man. They all are. There are no words that can be said here. I will continue to pray for your family.

Sam: I am very sorry to hear of your loss,may these words bring you comfort in the following days.Our thoughts and prayers are with You and Your family

The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want;
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I shall dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.

Psalm 23
