Scott McLeod Obituary

Scott Bee McLeod Scott Bee McLeod, 30, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008, in Iddo, Fla., from injuries resulting in an automobile accident. He was born in St. Petersburg, Fla., and had been a lifelong resident of Taylor County. He went into service in 1998 and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 7 years of service, and was stationed in Korea. He graduated from Taylor County High School in 1996, and worked as a calibration technician with the U.S. Air Force. Scott was a sports fan and a diehard Seminole fan. Survived by his parents, Jerry and Elaine McLeod, of Shady Grove, Fla.; his wife, Breanne McLeod, of Montana; Maternal Grandmother, Mizelle Ritchie, of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Michelle McLeod, of Cardiff, Calif., Stacey Singletary (husband, Brand), of Shady Grove, Fla.; a niece, Ava Grace Singletary; a nephew, Peyton Raleigh Singletary; Aunt, Anita Sirmon; Uncle, Dewey Sirmon, of Mobile, Ala.; Uncle, Mark Ritchie, of Mobile, Ala.; Uncle, Thomas Jackson McLeod, of Elba, Ala.; and Uncle, Winston Ritchie and Aunt Carol, of Ashland, Virginia; and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 31, 2008, at 3 p.m. EDT, with Bro. Wallace Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at the Hendry Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bi-Polar Association. Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of all the arrangements.
