Timothy McWhirter Obituary
Timothy Carl McWhirter, Sr., age 64, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Columbia, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at the Junaluska Amphitheater in Lake Junaluska, NC at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
He was born June 13, 1953, in Orangeburg, SC to the late Rev. E. Paul McWhirter and the late Nell (Breakfield) McWhirter. He was a graduate of McClenaghan High School and Francis Marion College in Florence, SC where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.
He is survived by his family, daughter Judy (Patrick) Lennon, of Columbia, SC; Timothy C. (Margaret) McWhirter II & Ashley (Matthew) Morris all of Tallahassee; a brother E. Paul (Patti) McWhirter of Chester, SC and two sisters, Judy Wilson of Raleigh, NC and Jane Canady of Macon, Ga and his former wife and mother of his children, Pamela M. Cummings of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren Collin Lennon, Allie-Grace & Lawson Lennon, Macie Rees & Ella Carlisle McWhirter and Lennon and Mary Addison Morris.
