Diane and Family

This is my first visit back to the Coke Plant since your loss. His presense is still strong here and always will be. He was the heart and soul and is deeply missed. I hope time is helping with the pain but your messages and sentiments you gave during and immediately after Tony's passing are true...God needed him. He will always be a part of me and in my thoughts and prayers.

To Diane and famiy,

I just wanted to let you know we are still thinking about you and your family and we are still keeping ya'll in our prayers. As we grew up, we all kind of lost touch, but there are still so many fond memories. One of the fondest is how crazy we were over the "Rudd" boys. I remember when Diane & Tony had just started dating and we were playing house. Diane pretended she was married to Tony. I am so thankful that dream came true for Diane. She was always crazy about Tony. Our memories will sustain us until the time we are all together again.

Steve, I know what is is like to loose a sibling and my prayers are with you too. My sister and I were pretty close in age, so we were always together, pretty much like you and Tony. You never forget, but as time passes, it does get easier to accept.

Love & prayers to all,

Lisa

To Jessica and All the Family,

I have been wanting to see some of the family to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Tony. I always admired his quiet tender countenance. I have known him for many years, but never seemed to get to know him like I wanted to. However, I want you to know that I feel some of your grief. I truly thought of him as a friend. Jessica, I know you the best of all. Please know that I do care and wish you and all of your family the best. Sincerely, Glenn Moore

Sue, Rupert, and Family,

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you in your time of sorrow. Our heavenly Father promised to send a Comforter to us in our time of need if we would but just call on Him. I only remember Tony as a young boy as I worked with Sue at Sears in Quincy. My children Clay (deceased), Darren Edmonds, and Kristi Edmonds-Waff, share a common ancestor with the Rudd family through their great grandmother Cenella Rudd Hamilton. God promised we would be with our loved ones again and I'm counting on it. God Bless you.

Selena, Brad, Jessie, Becky, and Stacy, I am sorry about the loss of your father, I can't imagine what kind of trauma this has done to you all, but with god you will get through this, just keep all the good memories around you and you will be okay. Selena, you and I have always been pretty close and I remember alot of good times you and I had riding our bikes down Rudd Road, playing in the rain, and Brad and Jason always trying to beat us up. Now all of us are grown up and moved on with our lives and our own families and all of that is truly missed. Also I can remember when Uncle Tony and Uncle Mike would come to the school and deliver cokes, we would run up their and get free cokes and all of our friends would want one, but we were the coke a cola family and always will be. You all will be in my prayers and Tony will always be missed by me and others. If there is anything you all need, just call and I will be there. I love you all very much. Your cousin, Tracy

Diane & Children. I was so sorry to hear about your sudden loss of Tony. I will alway's remember the times Becky was like part of our family. As you know I know the sudden loss of family. It's never easy & it's unreal how your whole life can change in an instance. I was glad to see this guest book so I could let you all know how sorry Dianna & I are. She was out of the country when this happended. I moved in with my mother in Talh. after my dad died. I still work in Quincy but I did not know about Tony's funeral until I was over.. I will keep you and the children in my prayers. Love ya, Kathy & Dianna Rogers

Diane & family, Sue, Rupert, Steve & family, I was so sorry to hear about Tony. I am glad I could make it to the funeral. What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful person. The poem Selena wrote and read at the service is so appropriate. I know it is very hard for each of you, but we have to remember the good times. We have had many good times together as a great family at Grandma's house that we will never forget. Tony was a very good person and loved by many as he will be missed by many. It is a time to think about life and how precious it is and what a short time we have on this earth and to make the best of it. I know my mother would have wanted to be at the services if she could have. Our prayers are with you at this time. Remember God will get you through this. We will keep you in our prayers. Love ya!

Diane and family, Rupert, Sue & Steve.

I grew up with Tony and Steve as they were the only cousins that lived near me and all boys. (Turned me into a tomboy!)

Tony used to pick at me when he seen me buy a Pepsi instead of a COKE. I would argue with him and tell him I liked Coke better.

He seemed like one of my brothers.

We always raced home from school down the Dirt Road (RUDD ROAD) to Grandma Rudd's house to see what she had to eat and Tony always beat us. I have a lot of Childhood memories of us and I will always remember them. I cannot remember anything bad.

I loved him very much and I will really miss him - MY BROTHER!

Diane and Kids, Sue and Rupert, I just wanted you all to know that Tony will be missed by all of us. He was a "GREAT" cousin and a friend to all who knew him. He was a good person and I am sure that he was also a good son, father, and husband. I know how hard this is for all of you, it is never a easy thing to face. My prayers are with you all. I love all of you and if there is anything that I can do please let me know.
