William Ammons Obituary

William Dean Ammons William Dean "Billy" Ammons, 42, died Sunday, June 18, 2006. Private services are planned. Fairchild Funeral Home (850-386-8686) is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Road, Orlando, FL 32803. A native of Montgomery, Ala., he had lived in Tallahassee since 1969. He loved camping and fishing. Survivors include his father, Arthur N. Ammons Sr. of Live Oak; a brother, Arthur N. Ammons Jr. (and wife Joanne) of New London, Conn.; two sisters, Donna L. Malphurs of Crawfordville and Cheryl L. Taylor (and husband Ernie) of West Topsham, Vt.; six nephews; and a niece.

Billy was a huge help to me when I needed support the most, way back when in 1985! I ran into him at Winn Dixie's pharmacy about two years ago, I wish that I would have taken the time to give him a really big neck hug and let him know just how much his support meant to me.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. my deepest condolences are with you and your family as you grieve. I new billy for many years and I am truley sorry he is gone. god bless him and his family, and may he rest in peace..
