Adelfa Julia CASANOVA-SANTANA

CASANOVA-SANTANA, Adelfa Julia, 86, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Tampa, FL, died Sunday, October 7, 2012. A native of Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Jose Casanova-Trujillo and Josefina Trujillo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2006 by her loving and dedicated husband, Emilio German Santana-Rivero. Adelfa and Emilio immigrated to the United States from Cuba with their daughter in the early 1960s. They lived long and prosperous lives in Tampa. Adelfa loved the beach, spending time with her grandchildren, socializing, and playing dominoes with her friends. She was a doting grandmother and loving mother. She will be missed by her family. A private entombment will be held in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Thonotosassa, FL. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Ada B. Dickinson; son-in-law, Paul R.
