I am so sorry to hear about Al's passing. When I heard, I instinctively wanted to call my dad who was one of his closest friends. But unfortunately, my dad passed away seven years ago. Al spoke so beautifully at his funeral. They played tennis every weekend. Sometimes they recruited me to wake up early to play with the "old guys." Of course as a teenager, I wanted to sleep late. I would do anything today for another tennis game wit Dad and Al.
I remember playing tennis with Al at Siesta Key on July 4, 1975 when our families vacationed together. I remember when I started my law practice, Al was one of my first clients- a small claims case. I think he cared more about giving me some business than the amount in controversy!
My deepest condolences to Beth, Steve, Melanie and the entire family. Al was a great man and he will be missed. Gary Dolgin
