Alice Yvonne Mitchell

MITCHELL, Alice Yvonne of Seminole, formerly of Worthington, OH. Born Aug. 10, 1928 in Gary, IN, passed away peacefully with her family near her side on Oct. 22, 2011. She was a devoted wife, mother and grand-mother. She attended Indiana State Teachers College and later became a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. She worked many years in the accounting department of MagneTek in Columbus, OH. Alice was an avid Buckeye fan who enjoyed entertaining family and friends, playing cards, a good laugh and a dirty martini. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Victor and Florence Hellstrom and her husband of 46 years, Anthony Mitchell. She is survived by her loving sons, Lance (Meredith) Mitchell of Lake Forest, IL and Mark (Marie) Mitchell of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Pipher of Worthington, OH and Ashley Ranalli of Hilliard, OH, Drake and Grant Mitchell both of Lake Forest, IL. A family service will be held at a later date.
