Angelo Cacciatore Obituary

CACCIATORE, Angelo Spoto., "Speedy Brown," 90, of Tampa, passed away June 29, 2008. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Mr. Cacciatore was the principal owner/operator of the Silver Ring Cafe from 1947 until 1984, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Lydia E. Cacciatore; daughters, Ember J. Prida and husband, Dr. Xavier Prida, and Michele C. Reyno and husband, Humberto; grandchildren, Adam X. Prida, Alexis C. Ochotorena and husband, David, Aaron C. Prida, Kelly C. Reyno, and Justin W. Houston; brother, Frank Cacciatore; sister-in-law, Argie Scardino; brother-in-law, Dr. Emilio Echevarria and wife, Kathy; and several loving nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. the morning of Tuesday, July 1, at the L' Unione Italiana Cemetery. The Rev. Father Felix Sanchez (pastor, St. Joseph Catholic Church) will officiate. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Gold Shield Foundation, Inc., P.O. Where do I begin? MY NANO I love you so much...You took me to school every day until I was 16. You taught me how to fish and love so many other sports! Your beloved yankees your favorite baseball team...I'll always be your bronx bomber!!You were a wonderful and awesome father as well as grandfather! You were and always be me my mentor and advisor!! Growing up as a child, I would relish in Angelo's fishing stories - he had such enthusiasm for his beloved sport. He will always truely be a Tampa treasure.
