Anthony MAURI Obituary

MAURI, Anthony J. "Tony" Sr. of Tampa, FL, born June 13, 1944, to the late James V. Mauri and Vincenza (Zirillo) Mauri of Derby, CT, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 27, 2022, after a long, fiercely-fought battle with cancer. Tony was the beloved husband of Kim (McLenithan) Mauri, of Tampa, FL; the loving father of Robin (Lee) Brownell, of Cambridge, NY, Tony (Denna) Mauri, of Knoxville, TN, and his late son, James Mauri, of Oxford, CT; and his daughter-in-law, Monica Mauri, of Bradenton, FL. Tony was also the loving brother of Franklin Mauri, of Woodstock, CT. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Shannon, Kristin, Levi and Amanda; as well as nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, located at 4518 S. Manhattan Avenue, Tampa, FL 33611 at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 18, with a gathering in the social hall immediately following the mass.
