Archie Moshides

MOSHIDES, Archie "Ike," 75, of Holiday, Fla., died Friday, November 11, 2005, at home in Holiday, Fla. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and moved here from Buffalo, N.Y., in 2003. He was a retired owner and operator of Allan Park Cleaners, Buffalo, N.Y., where he worked 1956-1972, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Tarpon Springs. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marian Moshides, Holiday, Fla.; a son, Steven Frank Moshides, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Athena Marie Halkias, Palm Harbor, Fla., and Stephanie Manolakis, Holiday, Fla.;a sister, Helen Meviner, Buffalo, N.Y.; six grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Kristan; and two sons-in-law, George and Nick. Visitation was 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2005, at Dobies Funeral Homes, Tarpon Avenue chapel, Tarpon Springs. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36 N. Pinellas Ave. His final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery, Clearwater Thomas B.
