Arthur J. "AJ" LeBLANC

LeBLANC, Arthur J. "AJ" 73, born March 8, 1937 died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Florida where he resided. Arthur was "A Much Loved Paw Paw", a native of Baton Rouge, LA and lived in Clearwater, for many years. Arthur worked as Louisiana State Police officer and in the chemical plant industry in his early years. While in Florida, he worked in condominium management. Although Arthur's latter days were physically difficult, he grew very strong in his faith in God and he longed to be in heaven. "For I am persuaded that neither death nor lifenor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39 He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Joseph LeBlanc, Sr., mother Clara Cayer LeBlanc, brothers and sisters Bobby Joseph LeBlanc, Norman Francis LeBlanc, Eleanor Louise Poirier, Jerry Wayne LeBlanc, and grandson Justin Summers. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Gerstein LeBlanc; sister Mary Ann Fryoux; and his children, John David LeBlanc, Nancy LeBlanc McGuire, Daniel Joseph LeBlanc, Cathy LeBlanc Gill, Berna Gay LeBlanc, Kim Marie LeBlanc, Kenneth Wayne Williams; and 13 grandchildren. Rev. Daniel Joseph LeBlanc will officiate the memorial service to be held at Life Giving Church, 2130 Florida Ave. SW, Denham Springs, LA 70726, March 20, 2010 at 4 pm. Family and friends are invited to the fellowship meal following the service.
