Arthur PARKS Obituary

PARKS, Arthur B. Jr. "A.B." passed away March 20, 2021 in Tampa at age 78. A Tampa native, A.B. did four years Army ROTC with two years active Navy, 1962-1964 aboard the USS Randolph carrier. He then became a Police Academy grad and worked two years in the Tampa Police department where he served with his dad Arthur Parks Sr. His true passion was firefighting, so in 1966 he became a Firefighter for the city of Tampa where he served for 23 years until his retirement in 1989. In later life, he enjoyed traveling and was an avid member of MUFON. He is survived by his children, Andy, Val and Pam. No services are planned but a celebration of life will take place with family. This caring and loving father will be missed dearly.

I can´t believe it´s been over a year since I lost my father. I hold our memories close to my heart. I try to honor you every day with your wisdom and life lessons and carry this on my to son. I miss our evening phone calls about current events and planning our next special adventures. I miss my dad.
