Arthur Scateni

SCATENI, Arthur, 81, passed away at Crown Pointe on Tuesday, October 3, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn and devoted children, Connie Brown of Tampa, Fla. and Marc (Susannah) of Madison, Wis. and two grandchildren, Isabella and Catherine, dear brother-in-law of Barbara Fischer-Hermsen (Bernard), Don Drefhall (Marilyn) and Pat Scateni Nicholis; dear Uncle of Janet Fischer-Klimkow (Kirk) and children, Michael and Peter, Joe Fischer (Lisa) and children, William and Douglas, Nancy Scateni Moss (Mike) and children, Matthew, Peter and Lindsay and many cousins in Italy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Lynn and a brother, Rudy, killed in the Korean War. He was an Advertising Executive, retiring to Sebring in 1988, from Green Bay, Wis. He was a former member and secretary of the Sun 'n Lake Men's Golf Association, former president of Kiwanis Club, Green Bay, Wis., former member of The Highlandaires and The Brass Quintet. He served in the United States Army Infantry in Germany and France 1943-1946. Special thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice, Orchid Team, especially Mary, Peter, Cheryl and Craig, Sebring Nursing Services, personnel of Crown Pointe and dear friends, Marie, Nada and Marion. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Rev. Darrell Arnold officiating.
