Assinat A. IBRAHIM

IBRAHIM, Assinat A. 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of the Lord, left life's journey on Aug. 19, 2012 in her home, surrounded by family members. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Dr. Guirguis A. Ibrahim. Assinat was born Oct. 13, 1927, in Mansoura, Egypt. She married Guirguis Ibrahim on Aug. 29, 1954. Together with him she raised four children while living an exemplary life of optimism, altruism, and joy. She and Guirguis shared over 52 inseparable years of marriage, filled with unconditional love. They enjoyed serving the Lord together in all of their endeavors, as active members of the Coptic Orthodox church in the Minneapolis, MN, and Clearwater areas. Assinat lived a remarkable life, was full of exuberant love and happiness, and always passionately served others before herself. Assinat exuded love and joy to everyone she came across, and she often laughed to the point of tears. Assinat is survived by her children, Sonia (Ibrahim) Solomon, Michael Ibrahim, Marcelle Triantafilou, and Dr. Joseph Ibrahim; daughters-in-law, Dina Ibrahim and Dr. Mona Soliman; grandchildren, Andrew, Angela, & Amy Solomon, David, Danielle, and Michelle Abraham, Dimitra & Nikki Triantafilou, and Anastasia & Paul Ibrahim.
