How shocked and saddened I was to learn of Ben's death. I'm so thankful dad (Harold Young) and I were able to visit with him and his family at a recent Price reunion. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I attended the ceremony last night and although I knew Ben only through playing on the same team in Soccer with him over the years, and many years ago, having a few beers if we won, having a few more beers if we lost .... I will never forget how generous and how nice Ben and Lucy always treated me back then. I remember always trying to get him to stop arguing with the refs. His sense of humor and truthfullness about him was a match for mine, and I regret losing track of people like that over the years. I never really thought about that until last night, and I guess that's another lesson learned. God bless all of you and if you are reading this Lucy, if there is anything I can ever do to lend a hand please tell Bill or Manny to call me. I try to think of dying as finally getting some decent sleep. So now I say Good Night to you Ben, sleep tight, and stop arguing with the refs.

My deepest sympathy to my cousin Kathryn and the entire family. I remember Ben as a little boy when he greeted me at the door as I came to visit one chilly Florida morning. He was self-assured but his eyes were lively with interest. I'm sure that liveliness has touched everyone he knew and will be fondly remembered.

Dear loved ones, I can only imagine your grief at this moment. Words cannot express what I am feeling. To know that our extended family has lost another dear person is so very sad. He was a good man. Be proud of him and treasure your memories. He taught you a lot and those memories will sustain you in the future.

Ben was a man that I respected and admired as we worked together. He was always a pleasure to be around and always seemed to make me laugh when I needed to the most. My heartfelt sorrow goes out to Ben's family. God Bless

My love and sympathy go out to all of the Bowns family, especially to Howard and Katie. It has been a long time since I have had any contact with you, but growing up with with Ben and Howard at St. John's and Tampa Prep I have always had very fond memories. My prayers are offered to you all through this time and I know that the love Ben has for his family and friends will always be felt. God Bless You All.

Just as Ben put his heart and soul into building homes during the time I worked with him, he put even more of himself into his family and friends. He was taken much too soon and Ben will be greatly missed.
With much love and sympathy,
