Ruedy, Bernhard "Bernie"

Bernie Reudy, 90, of St Petersburg, Florida, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025.

He was born on October 20, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to to Olga Schweitzer and Clarence Ruedy. Bernie graduated from Boys Tech High School (now Bradley Tech) in Milwaukee, WI.

He was married to Patricia Jean (Caple) Ruedy on May 10, 1958. They were married for 64 years until Patricia's passing.

Bernie had a career as a Journeyman Machinist for Allis-Chalmers and at Kearney & Trecker.

He was a veteran of the Korean conflict.

Bernie had a passion for riding roller coasters, classic movies (he knew all the stories and actors), and for hunting.

He was survived by his children, Mark Ruedy, Laura (Ruedy) Clifton, David Ruedy; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gamroth, Cassandra Ruedy, Nicholas Clifton, January Stramaglia, Julianne Clifton-Marquez, Alexandria Clifton, Laura Ruedy, Sarah Ruedy, David Ruedy; and his great grandchildren, Ada Gamroth, Mariella Clifton, Orion Clifton, Milana Stramaglia, Verona Stramaglia, Jaidah Ruedy, Jaycee Ruedy, Miranda Ruedy, Mariah Ruedy.

He will be buried at sea.
