I met Bob when I was grouped with him at the Joe Foss Pheasant Hunt in South Dakota in 1973. I had hardly ever even fired a gun at that point in my life, and here I was with one of the greatest shooters in the world. Bob took me under his wing, and I will forever remember his kindness and the friendship we forged from that day on. I fondly remember his coming to New York City, where I then worked, and enjoying the fare and the talk at a little Polish restaurant. Through our conversation that day we discovered that though a generation separated us, we shared many more interests and values than we previously had realized.
It is, of course, tragic news to learn of his and his wife's passing, but his loved ones must feel gratified to look back on the life of Bob Allen and realize the many accomplishments he achieved and people he touched.

I never met the man. However, here on the East Coast his name and reputation are legend.
I am a very satisfied customer of an excellent product line.
God rest your soul, Mr. Allen. May HE bring peace and comfort to those affected by your untimely passing.
I hear the skeet and trap fields in heaven are first rate. Good Shooting!

In sorrow We hear of Sari's and Bobs passing.
As a member of Sari's family we would like to extend our fellings to Bob's children.
Debra and I would have come to the funeral if we had heard of the deaths before today.

I have known Bob and Sari for several years and feel a tremendous sadness knowing that they we will no longer be able to enjoy such wonderful and caring people. They have, however, left me with many beautiful memories. They always cared about their family and friends and made sure that each and every one of us received the latest updates at Christmas. I will miss them.

My wife Deborah and I were priveleged to know and share fun times with Bob and his wonderful wife Sari. They were beautiful souls who will be sorely missed. It must have been Gods' plan for them to leave together, but it makes it all the harder for us left behind with their memories. May you dwell together forever sweet friends. We will always hold you in our hearts and never forget how you enriched our lives.
Love from Deborah and Michael

Bob was a long-time family friend. He and my father, Grits Gresham, were buddies for many years. I was shocked to hear of his death. Only recently we were talking about our favorite hobbies: shooting and flying airplanes.
Bob made the world a better place. We miss him already.
