Aunt Ruth & Jane & Family...we were saddened to hear of Calvin's passing. I have nothing but happy memories of all the times we shared together. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow. We love you all!!

Dear Sherri, we have just learned of Calvin's death and wanted to let you know that we will continue to remember you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. What an inspiration he has been to so many as he has struggled through his illness over the years. Please know we do care.

Dearest McDowell Family,
I'm not sure if you will remember me, but I lived next door to you on Lafayette Blvd. Some of my favorite memories of there and growing up are of playing with Calvin on the swings, him trying to teach me to ride his bike and our daily sessions in the corner during the second grade. I will always cherish growing up with Calvin and with you all. You will all be in my prayers and thoughts always and especially during this time.
