Carl McLennan Obituary

CARL WAYNE MCLENNAN 71, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 in Avon Park. He was born in Detroit, Mich. on September 21, 1935, to Laurel W. and Garnet (Sowers) McLennan. He was a manager in the Ben Hill Griffin Citrus Plant from 1970 to 1992, member of the Sebring Knights of Columbus, Frostproof Masonic Lodge and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He served in the United States Air Force and had been a resident of Avon Park since 2000, coming from Frostproof. He is survived by his wife, Alice McLennan of Avon Park; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Tim Truman of Versailles, Ky., Dawn and Jose Javier of Downey, Calif., Laurel and Jeff Curd of Richmond, Ky. and Marilyn and Dan Wilkinson of Deer Park, Wash.; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Sue McLennan of Tampa, Fla., Paul McLennan of North Dakota; sister and brother-in-law, Laurel and Bob Kuhfeldt of Lee, Fla.; 12 grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2007, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Gerald Grogan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENSON-NELSON FUNERAL HOME Avon Park, Fla. 863-453-3101
