Phyllis, memories continue: During Carl's time at Garden City Hospital, he would say to me, almost daily, "Nick, let's go fight depression". That translated to an invitation to take an afternoon coffee break from our duties. Loved those wonderful breaks that we both needed and enjoyed.
Carl will not be forgotten.

Tina and I are stunned and deeply sadden to hear of Carl's passing. I looked for Carl, as he might have looked for me at each Pinellis County Convention. We were like kids, reviewing the convention doings during our numerous lunchbreaks. Phillis, I know that heaven has becom richer with your loss.

My sincerest condolences to the Winans Family for the loss of your loved one, Carl, and pray you find comfort in Psalms 91:2.

Carl was my cousin by marriage, but was always a huge part of the Cortland Ohio Brobst family. Growing up, it was many years before I realized he was not a "full blooded Brobst". He and Phyllis drove all the way from Florida to be part of the Brobst Reunion in Estes Park Colorado which started 13 years ago today. Carl was a remarkable person, his sense of humor and kindness will be missed. Our thoughts are with Phyllis, Brad and Lyn.
