JAMES VINCENT WINANS

James Vincent Winans, age 61, beloved son of the late Raymond (Jerry) and the late Patricia (nee McIntyre). Cherished brother of Michael, Timothy (Becky), Pat (the late Jennifer), the late Daniel, and Thomas (Teresa). Loving uncle to Melissa, Amanda, George, Amber, Dylan, J.R., Jerry, Madeline, Dominic, and Vincent. Passed away on March 3, 2026, after a short illness.

Jim was born on November 23, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio where he lived for the rest of his life. He was the fourth of six brothers who were the pride and joy of Jerry and Patsy. Growing up Jim learned quickly you have to be tough when you are not the oldest, biggest, or the youngest of the gang of brothers!

As a kid, Jim loved baseball - from listening to Indians games and keeping statistics, to the daily summer pick-up games in the street in front our house on Library Ave. He always had to be captain, and he always had to have first pick. Jim loved the Game! Jim also loved spending time with his cousins in the Robertsons and Wolters families. From sleep overs at the Robertson's house while growing up to family picnics and the annual Christmas Eve get togethers later in life, you could always find Jim enjoying time with his family.

We take great comfort in knowing that Jim is now with his mom and dad, along with his much-loved brother Danny, and many aunts, uncles and cousins all together in heaven.
