Carol and I grew up together in Warrenton, NC and from the very beginning had that special chemistry that induced laughter, whether it was in the church choir, the classroom, or on the basketball court. We were blessed with such a warm circle of friends and families that can only exist in a small town. She was such a vibrant person who loved life and most of all her precious family. We will all miss our beloved Carol!!!!

She was my 5th grade teacher and I was lucky to have her. I can still hear her funny way of teaching scientific notation. It is people like her, who truly have a passion for teaching, that help give children the education they need to be successful as adults. Since they are deeply rooted in the memories of every child they teach, they are never forgotten. Their influence caries on through the positive influence every person that a child they taught has on others. I am in medical school training to be a doctor. Every person under my care, will owe a thanks to Carol Frame and teachers like her, without whom my dreams may not have been possible. This is the legacy of teachers.
